Market Trends and Patterns
Biotech-and-healthcare names once again led the charge, driven by clinical trial readouts, regulatory filings and planned financing. Diagnostics specialist Co-Diagnostics (CODX) jumped 47.6% after announcing Q1 assay breakthroughs, while Tivic Health Systems (TIVC) rallied 77.2% on its SEC Form S-3 registration becoming effective. Leap Therapeutics (LPTX) rose over 50% on strong Phase 2 data and cost-cutting measures.
Material solutions stock Bolt Projects (BSLK) topped the leaderboard with a 91.3% surge after unveiling a $4.25 million share and warrant offering following its merger. Other high-flyers included Advantest-valued microscopy firm ADN (+75.6%) and pressure-switch maker PPSI (+39.0%). Notably, no names finished lower on the day.
Volume Highlights
Trading volume was particularly heavy among the largest movers. PGEN led all names with 102.9 million shares changing hands, followed by DFLI at 89.2 million and PPSI at 46.8 million. Elevated turnover in these names underscores strong investor interest in capital-light clinical-stage and diagnostic plays.
