Bitcoin Mining

On the 6th of this month, the company released its December 2025 Bitcoin mining update, reporting that annual Bitcoin production rose more than 10% year over year and that it is ramping up AI data-center infrastructure in Georgia and Texas. Mid-month, Cleanspark announced an agreement to secure a site in Brazoria County, Texas, for an AI and high-performance computing data center of up to 600 MW, which sent its share price sharply higher. Northland Capital has since maintained an Outperform rating with a $22.50 price target.

Cleanspark is a major pure-play Bitcoin miner operating its own data centers across the United States, with roughly 1.4 GW of power, land, and data-center assets. Leveraging its Bitcoin-mining infrastructure and large-scale power contracts, the company is pursuing aggressive expansion into AI and HPC data centers, recently issuing $1.15 billion of interest-free convertible notes to fund that growth.
