Riding the AI Wave: Explosive Performance Forecasted for U.S. Data Analytics Firms by 2026

Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) reported Q4 2025 revenue of $1.407 billion, up 70% year-over-year, with U.S. revenue rising 93% and its U.S. commercial segment surging 137%. On a GAAP basis, the company delivered a 41% operating margin and a 43% net margin. For the full year 2025, Palantir generated $4.475 billion in revenue, a 56% increase, while total contract value, remaining performance obligations and customer count all hit record highs. Looking ahead to 2026, Palantir’s guidance calls for roughly 61% growth in total revenue and at least 115% growth in U.S. commercial revenue.

AI Software

In the earnings release, Palantir emphasized the expansion of its U.S. commercial customer base and an increase in large deals, characterizing its AI-powered software platform as the core driver of “operational leverage” that boosts both profitability and growth.

Palantir delivers data analytics and artificial intelligence software to public-sector and private-sector clients—including the U.S. government, defense, finance and manufacturing—leveraging strong demand in defense and security alongside rising enterprise AI investment. The company has recently strengthened its position in the industrial AI software market through partnerships with global manufacturers and telecom operators such as Samsung Electronics, HD Hyundai and KT.
