Semiconductor Foundry Stock Surges Over 1 Trillion Won in Market Capitalization in One Day

Tower Semiconductor (TSEM) shares closed at $129.08 on the Nasdaq on the 4th, up 6.46%. Trading volume was about 3.49 million shares, pushing the company’s market capitalization to roughly $14.4 billion (around KRW 19 trillion), adding approximately $1 billion (about KRW 1.3 trillion) in a single day.
The company has announced it will release its fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 results and host a conference call on February 11. On February 26, it will also attend the 15th Susquehanna Technology Conference at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel, where it plans to hold one-on-one meetings with investors.
Tower Semiconductor is a specialized foundry with strengths in analog, power management and RF (radio frequency) technologies. It operates production sites in Israel, the U.S., Japan and Italy and provides global analog semiconductor foundry services. In 2023, it underscored its medium- to long-term growth potential by announcing a capacity expansion plan for its 300 mm New Mexico fab in collaboration with Intel Foundry Services.
