According to a recent report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Tradeweb Markets Inc.’s Chief Technology Officer, Justin Peterson, sold 21,221 shares of the company’s Class A common stock on April 15, 2026, at an average price of $120.66 per share, cashing out approximately $2.56 million. This sale was executed under a pre-established Rule 10b5-1 trading plan. After the transaction, Peterson’s total reported holdings stood at 36,291 shares, including unvested restricted stock units scheduled to vest between 2027 and 2029 upon meeting certain service requirements.

Tradeweb Markets Inc. (NASDAQ: TW) is a U.S.-based fintech company operating an electronic trading platform for a diverse array of asset classes—including global bonds, interest rate derivatives, credit, ETFs, repurchase agreements and money-market instruments. Since its founding in 1996 and subsequent Nasdaq listing, the firm has built institutional-grade electronic trading infrastructure. As of 2024, over half of its revenue is generated from interest rate products, with the remainder derived from credit, money-market and repo activities, market data and related services.

In its latest SEC filing, Tradeweb reported first-quarter 2026 revenue of $617.8 million, up 21.2% year-over-year, and net income of $233.2 million, an increase of 38.5%. Average daily volume (ADV) across interest rate, credit, equity and money-market products rose 31.4% to $3.3 trillion. The board of directors approved a quarterly cash dividend increase to $0.14 per share. During the quarter, Tradeweb repurchased 482,621 shares for approximately $50.7 million. The company also disclosed new strategic investments, including stakes in prediction market platform Kalshi and digital-asset exchange Crossover Markets, as well as the development of on-chain repo capabilities via the Canton Network.
