AI Beneficiary Fuel Cell Stock Legal Chief Sells $210 Million Stake
Shawn Marie Soderberg, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Bloom Energy Corp (NYSE: BE), sold approximately 90,000 shares on April 14, 15 and 29 in the open market under a pre-established Rule 10b5-1 trading plan. Those sales generated roughly $21 million (around KRW 30 billion) in proceeds. According to SEC filings, Soderberg still holds about $100 million (approximately KRW 100 billion) in equity through her personal account and a trust established in 2005.
In its first-quarter 2026 results announced on April 28, Bloom Energy reported revenue of $751.1 million, a 130% increase year-over-year, and raised its full-year revenue guidance to $3.4–3.8 billion. Fueled by power demand from AI data centers and a major supply agreement with Oracle, the stock hit a 52-week intraday high and surged more than 20% on the New York Stock Exchange on April 29.
