AI Security Index Inclusion Expected… US Software Stocks Surge $600 Million in a Day

Shares of JFrog Ltd. (NASDAQ: FROG) climbed 5.57% to close at $82.85 on the Nasdaq, with trading volume reaching about 1.69 million shares.

That rise lifted the company’s market capitalization to roughly $10 billion—around ₩15 trillion—adding approximately $590 million (about ₩900 billion) in value in a single day.

Recently, JFrog unveiled a $300 million share buyback program and drew “buy” ratings and higher price targets from firms citing strong software supply-chain security and cloud-growth prospects. The stock is also set for inclusion in the Russell 3000 Index on June 26, and investors are bullish on its AI integrations with Anthropic and NVIDIA as well as the launch of its Agent and MCP Registry offerings—positioning JFrog as a key beneficiary of the AI trust and governance theme.

JFRog’s software supply-chain platform—comprising Artifactory, Xray and Pipelines—helps developers store, distribute and secure software packages and AI models. Headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, the company is pursuing a “liquid software” strategy that spans DevOps, security and MLOps, aiming to become a core vendor in cloud and AI infrastructure.
