Samsara Inc., a U.S.-based Internet of Things company (ticker: IOT), saw its stock plunge 7.23% on the New York Stock Exchange on the 25th, closing at $28.98.

In a single day, approximately $730 million in market capitalization—about 1 trillion Korean won—was wiped out, driving the company’s valuation down to roughly $10.8 billion (about 15 trillion won).

Around 3.26 million shares traded during the regular session, signaling a clear pullback in investor sentiment.

In its fiscal 2027 first-quarter results, announced on the 5th of this month, Samsara beat market expectations with revenue of $478.8 million and earnings per share of $0.17, while its annual recurring revenue neared $2 billion.

The previous day, the company announced the winners of the 2026 Connected Operations Awards, underscoring the expansion of its connected operations ecosystem.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in San Francisco, Samsara is an IoT-based connected operations cloud provider that gathers data from vehicles, equipment, and field sites to improve safety and efficiency across the transportation, construction, energy, and public sectors.
