Evommune, Inc. announced top-line results from its randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, dose-ranging Phase 2b trial of oral MRGPRX2 antagonist EVO756 in adults with moderate-to-severe chronic spontaneous urticaria, reporting that the study’s primary endpoint—mean change in Urticaria Activity Score over seven days (UAS7) at 12 weeks—was not met at any dose. The company stated this lack of efficacy does not support further development of EVO756 for chronic spontaneous urticaria but confirmed that doses were safe and well tolerated, supporting continued development of EVO756 in other indications, including atopic dermatitis and migraine prophylaxis, with Phase 2b atopic dermatitis data expected in the third quarter of 2026 and a Phase 2b migraine trial now in screening. Management also highlighted ongoing development of its IL‑18BP fusion protein EVO301 following positive Phase 2a proof-of-concept data in atopic dermatitis and noted that its current cash position is expected to fund operations through 2028.
