Kohl’s has named Ryan M. Waymire as Chief Merchandising Officer, effective September 28, replacing Nick Jones as the company advances its merchandising strategy.

Kohl’s Corporation announced that it has appointed Ryan M. Waymire as Chief Merchandising Officer, effective September 28, reporting to CEO Michael J. Bender, where he will oversee the company’s overall merchandise strategy and all merchandising functions including buying, omnichannel merchandising, product design and development, allocation and planning, sourcing, and product portfolio strategy; Waymire, who brings 25 years of experience from major retailers such as Walmart, Amazon, Target, Wayfair, and FabFitFun and most recently served as SVP of Fashion at Walmart U.S., will replace Nick Jones, who has held the Chief Merchandising Officer role since 2023 and is departing the company, as Kohl’s pursues a modernization of its product offering and broader merchandising strategy.
