Monte Rosa Therapeutics, Inc. announced that its collaborator Novartis has initiated a global Phase 2a/b randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial of the VAV1-directed molecular glue degrader MRT-6160 (DDY391) in patients with Sjögren’s disease under their existing global exclusive development and commercialization license agreement, triggering a $50 million milestone payment to Monte Rosa and positioning the program for further Phase 2 studies in additional immune-mediated diseases with potential additional milestone payments and up to $2.1 billion in aggregate development, regulatory, and sales milestones, alongside a U.S. profit/loss share and ex-U.S. royalties for Monte Rosa.
