ACIF shareholders approved a merger that will result in ACIF becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of BCPL and ultimately merging into BCPL, alongside a one-time repurchase offer for up to 15% of ACIF shares.

Alternative Credit Income Fund (ACIF) announced that its shareholders have approved the merger of BCPL Merger Sub, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of BC Partners Lending Corporation (BCPL), with and into ACIF, after a special shareholder meeting held on September 10, 2026, with approximately 84.6% of voting shareholders supporting the transaction. Upon the effectiveness of this merger, ACIF will continue as the surviving company and become a wholly owned subsidiary of BCPL, after which ACIF will subsequently merge with and into BCPL. In connection with the merger, ACIF is also conducting a one-time discretionary repurchase offer for up to 15% of its outstanding shares, while management highlights expected benefits including greater scale, enhanced diversification, and improved access to capital for the combined company.
