Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (LP Building Solutions) announced that, in response to soft demand in the oriented strand board (OSB) market and after reviewing production needs across its network, it will indefinitely curtail OSB production at its Jasper, Texas facility beginning in October 2026, removing approximately 475 million square feet (3/8-inch basis) of annual capacity while retaining flexibility to restart the mill as conditions improve and providing job search and transition support to affected employees.
