IREN Limited delivered its first 50MW Horizon 1 AI Cloud deployment to Microsoft under a $9.7 billion contract and earned NVIDIA Exemplar Cloud status on its GB300 NVL72 deployment.

IREN Limited announced that it has successfully delivered and had Microsoft accept Horizon 1, the first of four 50MW direct-to-chip liquid cooled AI Cloud deployments under a five-year, $9.7 billion cloud services contract, and that the company has achieved NVIDIA Exemplar Cloud status following NVIDIA’s testing of its GB300 NVL72 deployment at Horizon 1, underscoring IREN’s capability to support large-scale, high-performance AI workloads as it targets expansion to 480MW of AI Cloud capacity in 2026 and 1.2GW in 2027.
