On April 1, 2026, Fulton Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: FULT) announced that it has completed its acquisition of Blue Foundry Bancorp (formerly Nasdaq: BLFY), thereby expanding Fulton’s presence in New Jersey and increasing its size to a $34 billion financial services company; Blue Foundry Bank will initially operate as a separate, wholly owned subsidiary until its operations, systems, and accounts are merged into Fulton Bank, N.A. later in the summer, and in connection with the transaction Fulton will contribute $1.5 million to the Fulton Forward Foundation to support nonprofit community organizations in New Jersey.
