AT&T Inc. announced that it has closed its previously disclosed acquisition of certain wireless spectrum licenses from EchoStar Corporation for approximately $23 billion, adding about 30 MHz of nationwide 3.45 GHz mid-band and 20 MHz of nationwide 600 MHz low-band spectrum that cover virtually every U.S. market. The transaction is intended to significantly increase AT&T’s 5G network capacity and download speeds and support an AI-ready connected experience, while the company reaffirmed the financial outlook and capital allocation plan previously provided in its second-quarter 2026 earnings release.
