Soluna Holdings, Inc. announced that it has energized the final 14 MW at its Project Kati 1 site in Willacy County, Texas, completing the 83 MW first phase and lifting the company’s total operating capacity to approximately 206 MW, while also receiving notice from ERCOT that the entire 166 MW Kati campus, including the planned Kati 2 AI expansion, has been conditionally classified as Base Load within ERCOT’s Batch Zero interconnection process, preserving its interconnection capacity pending completion of ERCOT’s verification. The project is a wind-powered, behind-the-meter data center campus powered by the Las Majadas wind project, with Kati 1 dedicated to Bitcoin hosting (including capacity filled by Galaxy Digital and a co-mining agreement with Bitdeer) and Kati 2 intended for AI and high-performance computing, and forms part of Soluna’s broader 6.3 GW development pipeline including more than 650 MW of AI and HPC capacity.
