On May 30, 2026, Summit Therapeutics Inc. announced at the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting interim Phase II data from the co-sponsored AK112-206 trial of its investigational bispecific antibody ivonescimab (SMT112/AK112) plus standard mFOLFOX6 chemotherapy as first-line treatment for unresectable microsatellite stable metastatic colorectal cancer, reporting a 70.8% objective response rate and 100% disease control rate in evaluable patients, more durable responses and higher 9‑month progression-free survival in the 20 mg/kg arm versus 10 mg/kg, and an acceptable, manageable safety profile with no new safety signals, and highlighted that these results support continued clinical development including an ongoing global Phase III HARMONi-GI3 trial comparing ivonescimab plus mFOLFOX6 to bevacizumab plus mFOLFOX6.
